In 1994, INTECS became one of the first companies in Italy to be granted ISO 9001 certification (Det Norske Veritas) for activities of software design, development, test and maintenance in the Defence, Space and Civil sectors.

The quality system has since been redefined to ensure conformance to ISO 12207 standards and NATO AQAP 2110, AQAP 150 and 160.

Numerous specialized internal procedures are now available to comply effectively with specific standards such as Defence (MIL-498), Space (ECSS E40/Q80), Railway (EN 50128) and automotive (AutoSPICE - ISO 15504).

In April 2009, INTECS achieved the MATURITY LEVEL 3 (Level 3 Rating CMMI®) of the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model Integration (SEI CMMI®) for DEFENCE and ATC/VTS (Air Traffic Control/Vessel Traffic System) activities, see also  SEI Report. Such an achievement was a result of our long-standing commitment allowing us to reach the Capability MaturityModel (SEI CMM®) Level 3 Rating CMM® since the year 2005.

In 2005, INTECS was qualified by SCIROTÜV and TÜV Rheinland Berlin Branderburg, for the performance of assessments according to the CENELEC EN 50128 standards. INTECS has a safety functional engineer team according to EN 61508 certified by TÜV.

INTECS granted an assessment by Volkswagen, for the AutoSPICE (ISO 15504) Level 2 on transport-related activities.

In 2006, an assessment by Volkswagen recognized INTECS for the performance of process improvement initiatives for software suppliers in the context of AutoSPICE (ISO 15504).

Furthermore, INTECS has a software process assessor team Automotive SPICE ISO 15504 certified according to the TACS European scheme.
