The engineering company adopts 325 trees, supports the protection of a protected area in Abruzzo, and, with partner Piantando, also contributes to the construction of wells, the restoration of degraded areas, and the lighting of villages in Malawi.
Rome, 12/19/2025 – A Christmas dedicated to environmental sustainability for Intecs, which has decided to give a special gift to all its employees: the adoption of 325 native trees in the heart of the Silva project, managed by Piantando. This is how the Intecs Forest comes to life, a natural reserve located in Tollo, Abruzzo, in the Valle del Foro. The initiative, spanning over 5 hectares of forest, aims to protect a safeguarded area at risk of hydrogeological instability. Thanks to oak, maple, and wild linden trees, the project helps protect the soil from erosion, promotes biodiversity, and contributes to combating climate change.
A Partner for Sustainable Projects
Through collaboration with Piantando, a Benefit Corporation managing high-impact social and environmental projects, Intecs not only contributes to tree planting but also supports initiatives such as well construction, the restoration of degraded areas, and the lighting of villages in Malawi.
An Invitation to Contribute
Intecs wanted to involve its community in this environmental commitment. On the dedicated portal, each participant can discover the certificate of the adopted tree and be inspired to do the same with friends and family.
