AEROSPACE

Aerospace is one of the sectors in which Intecs has been involved since its foundation, contributing to the development of innovative space technologies at the European level and their industrial applications.

For over 30 years, Intecs has been developing systems and components for space applications, such as onboard software and ground segment systems supporting observation satellites. Regarding the ground segment, Intecs has gained specific expertise in software development, validation, and management. It has also developed a series of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receivers and GNSS signal analysis tools based on SDR (Software-Defined Radio) technology.

In the avionics sector, Intecs specializes in implementing safety- and mission-critical systems and provides support throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to validation and certification according to DO178B/C and DO254 standards. Additionally, it develops virtual models for complex systems using Model-Based Design. 

GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEMS (GNSS)

GNSS technologies offer advantages in various sectors, both safety-critical (aerospace, railway, automotive) and non-safety-critical (precision agriculture, research). Thanks to SDR technologies, flexible and adaptable solutions are available for GNSS system development based on software processing of signals received from satellites.

Intecs’ offering covers multiple areas, including GNSS Front-End architecture development, GNSS Signal-in-Space (SiS) analysis, research on advanced algorithms for GNSS signal processing, simulation development for GNSS reception in different operational scenarios, and GNSS receiver verification, validation, and calibration. 

GROUND SEGMENT – USER GROUND SEGMENT (UGS) APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

User interfaces for the ground segment can manage the required amount of acquired data. Users can browse catalogs, request new acquisitions, or specify data processing through UGS access, which handles the entire request lifecycle from detection to final delivery.

Intecs offers standard-based solutions and services such as monitoring and control systems, catalog and tasking service development, remote sensing, and precision farming. These services have been successfully implemented in programs like Cosmo-SkyMed and IRIDE Market Place.

GROUND SEGMENT – INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION & VALIDATION

Integration, verification, and validation activities aim to ensure the reliability of installed applications and systems, improving performance and reducing operational costs.

Intecs offers services such as system integration, validation of software deliverables, anomaly analysis and maintenance support, and verification of external systems communicating via complex protocols. These services have been successfully implemented in programs like Cosmo-SkyMed, ESA User Services, Copernicus Data Access Systems, Sentinel-3, and PRISM. 

PAYLOADS

Intecs specializes in developing satellite payloads for mini satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). These payloads can detect, classify, and locate electromagnetic signals from space, perform data acquisition and downlink to the ground, as well as process and store information.

Additionally, they provide services such as RF telecommunications detection and environmental monitoring, with applications including asset tracking, RF spectrum analysis, and geo-marketing. They utilize Machine Learning algorithms with Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) technology for real-time object detection in satellite images, ensuring system adaptability and reconfigurability.
