SIRIO-LX
Sirio-LX is an automatic system based on radar technology, designed to prevent trains from colliding with obstacles accidentally on the tracks or stopped at level crossings. Designed to ensure the highest level of safety, it consists of several components:
- a Detection Unit made up of one or more high-resolution short-range radar sensors;
- a Control Unit based on a 2oo2 redundant architecture for managing radar sensors, interfacing with the railway signaling infrastructure, and the Remote Operator Station;
- an Operator Station and a Video Subsystem for monitoring and diagnosing the system remotely.
